Looxcie Launches the Looxcie 2 Wearable Camcorder(0)
Looxcie, Inc. makers of the first wearable mobile-connected video cam, announced today the launch of Looxcie 2™, its sleek new video cam. With an entirely new design, Looxcie 2 weighs 20 percent less and is almost half the size of the original while maintaining full battery capacity and all video capture and social media sharing features. DaCast Launches Robust VOD Capabilities(0)
DaCast, the first fully integrated, self-service platform for live streaming, today announced the introduction of Video on Demand (VOD) functionality to its online video services.

Channels can also be bundled, providing a large archive of video and audio content that can be priced by content owners any way they choose. Signing up with DaCast is free, with no commitments or monthly fees, and new sign ups have instant access to VOD capabilities. Through a powerful encoding service, the system supports all mainstream media file types as well. Furthermore, the company does not charge any storage fees for uploaded media content which is highly unusual in the market today. Call Box, a provider of interactive training for digital media professionals, has released their latest training course worldwide, “Panasonic GH2 Guidebook.” Created by Apple Certified Pro instructor Noah Kadner, this course takes users through the usage of the GH2 camera in production and post-production. “Panasonic GH2 Guidebook” features original content broken down into learning modules with interactive demonstrations and easy to understand, real-world examples. Canon Upgrades Its’ 3D Video Cameras – Full Details Revealed(0)
Canon today announced significant enhancements to its Canon XF305 and XF300 professional camcorders including the ability to configure two units for 3D HD video capture.
