Luvion Releases New Long Range, Secure Digital Video Baby Monitor to US and Canada through WiFi Baby Luvion Releases New Long Range, Secure Digital Video Baby Monitor to US and Canada through WiFi Baby(0)

WiFi Baby, a supplier of smart and secure baby monitors, partners with Luvion Baby Products to offer the Luvion Grand Elite digital video baby monitor with shipping to the United States and Canada. The Luvion Grand Elite has a secure digital signal with a 300 yard range, exceeding others in its product class by 100 yards (300 feet).

Designed for convenience, the rechargeable video monitor is the size of a smart phone with a 3.5 inch screen and a mere 16 mm thick. To ensure privacy, the Luvion Grand Elite uses a digital pairing function, similar to a Bluetooth system, that syncs the camera’s digital signal only to an authorized video monitor.

“The security issues of wireless video baby monitors have been the subject of countless news articles, like NBC News, because traditional monitors work on public analog radio signals,” commented WiFi Baby CEO Stefanie Fox.

“Range from camera to the video baby monitor, or parent unit, is measured in direct line of site,” Fox explained. “If your nursery is on the third floor and you’re monitoring from the first floor, a monitoring system with a 200 yard range may not cut it, due to walls, levels, stairways and closed doors. The picture may be choppy, the signal could be weak or it may not connect at all.”

After WiFi Baby’s recent review in Engadget, the company decided to partner with Luvion. The reviewer stated, “In our experience, only Luvion’s brand of premium video baby monitors can hold a candle to WiFi Baby in terms of convenience and interference-free image quality under a variety of lighting conditions.”

Luvion Grand Elite Features:

  •     Private interference-free range up to 300 Yards
  •     Rechargeable smart phone size video monitor with 3.5 inch screen, mere 16 mm thick
  •     Video quality is 640×480, 30 Frames Per Second
  •     2- Way interference-free digital audio “Talkback”
  •     Audio alerts – Visual, Auto-Mute and Alarms set to personal preference
  •     SD-card slot for scheduled recording (SD card sold separately)
  •     Can connect to any HDTV for Picture-in-Picture (PIP) with included AV cords
  •     On Screen Display of room temperature, date and time
  •     Expandable up to 4 Grand Elite Cameras (sold separately)
  •     Auto Scan between all authorized cameras on same video monitor
  •     Camera and monitor can work on AC Connection or battery
  •     Camera can be shelf or wall mounted with included kit

Until partnering with Luvion, WiFi Baby has exclusively sold the WiFi Baby 3G, a stand-alone wireless camera that connects to a home WiFi network and streams password-protected video and audio to iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac and PC. “Over the last year, we have been searching for an alternative non-WiFi network based baby monitor to expand our product line so we could meet the monitoring needs of all parents,” said Fox. “With Luvion we now have the best of both worlds. Our customers now have a choice of the most advanced WiFi network or digital based baby monitors on the market.”

All About Noise Cancelling Headphones All About Noise Cancelling Headphones(0)

Music is a pastime enjoyed by all and without it we would lead very silent lives when alone.

As well as listening to music out loud in a bar or your own home, it is also enjoyed whilst travelling.

This could be on a long journey or simply the commute to and from work.

However, due to sharing a space with a number of other people in either of the above scenarios, MP3 players and iPods are available.

The user simply plugs his or her ear phones into the device and is then able to enjoy their music on the go without disturbing anyone else.

However just because you are being polite enough not to disturb anyone else, it doesn’t mean your music enjoyment won’t be flawed in any way!

These flaws often come in the form of background noise, such as traffic, engines, building work, the laughter and chatter of others and anything else you may encounter on your commute to and from work.

All of the above factors can affect your audio experience. There is, however, a new introduction on the market, which provides superb sound quality.

This undisturbed sound experience is provided by a new innovation in headphones that use specific software.

This all-new technology comes in the form of inverse phase active technology.

Such software allows users to listen to either movies or songs without experiencing any unwanted background noise.

This is great news for music fanatics as they can now enjoy all their favourite songs in high quality, without any disruption at all.

The headphones are readily available online and can be purchased for an extremely reasonable price, making them a great gift!

They’re available at sites such as www.lindy.co.uk/, Amazon and even Ebay if you’re looking for some cheaper second-hand headphones.

SAMSUNG Announces First Smart TV App Developed Using Adobe AIR SAMSUNG Announces First Smart TV App Developed Using Adobe AIR(0)

At Max 2011, Adobe’s technology developer conference, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, announced the launch of the first Smart TV application using Adobe® AIR®, to be available on Samsung Smart TVs. With the announcement, Samsung marked yet another step in the evolution of Samsung’s connected entertainment ecosystem, which delivers rich content experiences across a range of devices including televisions, mobile phones, tablets and PCs.

VH1’s Flash technology based application, ‘I Love the 80’s’ Trivia’, will be made available on Samsung Smart TVs in the US this fall via the Samsung Apps marketplace.

“We are pleased that the rich content and vibrant colors bring the ‘80s back to life with the ‘I Love the 80’s Trivia app’ and provide our audience another screen on Samsung Smart TVs,” said Kristin Frank, general manager of MTV and VH1 Digital.

Apps such as VH1’s ‘I Love the 80s Trivia’ offer new content and experiences to the continually popular and growing Samsung Smart TV application category of gaming.

“Integrating Adobe AIR into our Smart TV platform was a logical step to ensure a robust content ecosystem for Samsung customers,” said Kyungsik Kevin Lee, vice president of Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics. “By adding support for Adobe AIR for TV, we further opened the Samsung Smart TV ecosystem to more than 3 million Flash developers worldwide, who can seamlessly deliver gaming, media and data-driven apps to a wide range of Samsung devices.”

Adobe AIR is a key element of the Adobe Flash Platform, enabling developers and content publishers to leverage existing code and familiar tools to deliver rich, standalone applications across devices and platforms.

“Samsung has long supported Adobe’s talented developer community by making it easy to create, distribute and monetize rich content for Samsung devices using Adobe’s industry-leading tools,” said Danny Winokur, vice president and general manager, Platform at Adobe. “Samsung is leading the way in helping content publishers extend and optimize their applications for the television screen, making multiscreen content publishing a reality.”

Adobe AIR for TV 2.5 is currently available to developers on 2011 Samsung Smart TV models, and will be available on 2011 Samsung Smart Blu-ray Players later this year in North American and South American markets.

Line 6 Ships DT25™ Guitar Amplifiers Line 6 Ships DT25™ Guitar Amplifiers(0)

Line 6, Inc. (line6.com), the industry leader in digital modeling technology for musicians, just shipped the DT25 family of amplifiers, which includes DT25 112 Combo, DT25 Head, DT25 112 Extension Cab. The new 25W/10W tube amps deliver boutique sound and performance via a uniquely versatile design by renowned amp designer Reinhold Bogner and advanced HD modeling technology from Line 6.

“DT25 is like four boutique tube amps in one,” remarked Elliot Chenault, Line 6 Product Manager. “Bogner’s innovative design applies reconfigurable analog components to provide incredible sonic flexibility and the rich tone, feel and touch response his amps are known for.”

The new amplifiers provide guitarists with four guitar amp voicings, or sonic signatures: American clean, British crunch, Class A chime and modern high-gain. Each voicing is the perfect combination of negative feedback loop topology and HD preamp and tone stack modeling. Add to that the reconfigurable operating class (Class AB/25 Watts/Fixed Bias or Class A/10 Watts/Cathode Biased) and power tube mode (Pentode or Triode) and guitarists can dial in classic vintage tones or highly customized originals of their own creation.

The simple, two-channel design provides uncommon flexibility. Each channel is independent – not “clean” or “dirty” – and any configuration of voicing, operating class and power tube mode can be dialed in to either channel. A flick of the A/B switch (or a tap of a latching footswitch) is capable of causing a full analog and digital transformation.

DT25 amplifiers feature L6 LINK™ jacks for connection to new Line 6 POD® HD multi-effect processors. When connected, the POD HD adds effects, additional amp voicings, foot control and instant scalability (including stereo operation with multiple DT25 amplifiers). The amplifiers’ back panels also feature MIDI I/O, a serial effect loop, multiple speaker outs and a direct out with cabinet simulation, which provides the rich DT25 tone without having to mic the speaker.

DT25 amplifiers feature one 12AX7 and two EL84 tubes, custom-voiced Celestion® G12H90 speakers, and modeled spring reverb with individual level control per channel.

Digital Projection Breaks 3D Projector Brightness Threshold with TITAN Quad 3D Digital Projection Breaks 3D Projector Brightness Threshold with TITAN Quad 3D(0)

Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, announces the complete reinterpretation of the advanced 3D display with the introduction of the new TITAN Quad 3D product line. Incredibly compact for such powerful projectors, the 8,000 lumen TITAN Reference Quad 1080p-3D and 16,000 lumen TITAN Quad 1080p-3D are both active and passive 3D capable with HDMI 1.4 compliant 3D connectivity. Furthermore, the new TITAN Quad projectors include DP’s exclusive ColorMax color management system for consistent color performance and precise color gamut control. The new TITAN Quad displays now represent the flagship of DPI’s TITAN product line, which incorporates over 30 distinct 3D capable models.

DPI’s Reference displays are widely regarded as the ultimate displays for creating exclusive home entertainment experiences, and the new TITAN Reference Quad serves as powerful evidence that this reputation is well deserved. TITAN Quad projectors make 3-chip DLP® performance available in a compact chassis that produces dazzlingly bright, high contrast and color saturated imagery. As brightness is an essential characteristic when considering a 3D projector purchase, the TITAN Quad displays ensure awe-inspiring home entertainment on the largest screens, through their unprecedented 8,000 and 16,000 lumens. Incomparable brightness stands as only one key benefit however, as the TITAN Quads also boast incredible color performance due to DPI’s exclusive Xenon Color Mode. This color-space replicating capability assures the skin tones of your favorite actors and the team colors of your favorite sports heroes are rendered true and accurate.

With over four years of experience designing, manufacturing, distributing and supporting powerful 3D projectors, DPI has developed exclusive 3D advances that extend the remarkable flexibility found within each TITAN Quad display. FastFrame motion blur reduction all but eliminates motion artifacts associated with rapidly moving content, such as what may be seen when viewing sporting events or participating in video games. DPI’s Dual-Flash Processing assures the smoothest in screen imagery, by frame doubling 60 Hz 3D sources to be displayed at 120 Hz on screen, or by frame tripling 24/48 Hz 3D sources, such as frame-packed 3D Blu-ray discs, to be displayed at 144 Hz. These powerful new capabilities perfectly complement other legacy characteristics that have made DPI’s precision displays the reference standard for exclusive home cinemas for more than a decade.
